History of Association In 2004 Professor Yum-Tong SIU 蕭蔭堂教授 and Professor Sau-Fong SIU 黃秀芳教授 founded the University of Hong Kong Alumni Network of New England, based in Boston, to provide opportunities for networking among former students and employees of the University of Hong Kong (HKU), who have established residency in the New England region of six states (MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, ME). In January 2017 the name of the group was changed to Hong Kong University Alumni Association Boston-New England.
Purposes The purposes of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Alumni Association of Boston- New England are:
These purposes are achieved through large and small gatherings, a directory, website and Facebook. The formation of interest groups based on professions or hobbies is encouraged.

Yum-Tong Siu purchased the domain hkuaane.org and set up a basic design
for our website, which was launched in 2010. Since then, many alumni have

Any graduate from the University of Hong Kong is a member of the University for life and automatically becomes a member of Convocation, a body established officially under the University's Ordinance and Statutes comprising all graduates and teachers.
